Hi Sandy,

My bridge arrived today and I couldn't be more satisfied. My initial reason to look for a replacement was to address the problems I had with the string spacing of my vintage bridge. Your 'convertible' bridge was exactly what I needed. I was able to keep the vintage mounting holes, but bring the strings back on the fretboard. The bridge you made for me is beautiful and it sounds great! Thank you so much. I'll be back when I start my next guitar project.

HI Sandy

Just wanted to update you.

I gigged my Suhr Strat this weekend with the new block

AWESOME !

There is a depth to the tone that was lacking before and the string anchoring at the base also helped my new strings settle in much quicker

All I can say is Hurry up with the other one so I can try it on my Anderson ( it's in pieces waiting )

Hi Sandy,

The new block arrived this morning, I have installed it… and I am quite amazed what a difference in tone it has produced! It’s given my Strat the ‘X’ factor… I’m also really impressed how good the intonation is, previously it had always been a bit ‘off’ but now its spot on. I really appreciate you sending a second block, and believe me I’ll be spreading the word about your products amongst my mates… being a university student heavily involved with the uni band society, I know a lot of people who are into playing and upgrading guitars...!

Thanks again

 Hi Sandy,
I have just installed the block that I bought from your eBay store (#5 non
etched serial #). I had a C------m tremolo unit in the guitar prior to
this. I attached the brass block to an after market chrome bridge plate
(looks like copper underneath - when I sanded it level) with a set of
C------m saddles, and I'm still waiting on a standard tremolo arm. I
thought I would leave the C------m unit intact in case I wanted to put it
back ...
After playing for ten minutes I realized that the C------m unit is not
going back in.
The difference is very pronounced. Notes are clearer and
respond much better
to variations in pick attack. I can now pluck the
string softly and get a decent sounding note and then with harder picking
the harmonics just want to jump right out of the amp. I could never do
this with the C*##*%*m unit. As I mostly play with my amp set clean or
clipping, this is just the sound I am after. I would liken the improvement
that I get with your brass tremolo bock to changing to a better set of
pickups or changing the neck - the difference is very strong and very
positive.
Up until now I had thought that C------m blocks and trem units were the
best available. Your brass block surpasses them by a long shot. I think
your business has a great future. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Sandy,

Tony

Sandy,

Your blocks are so far beyond the other ones out there in quality, size and sound.... Yes, it is very noticeable even when not plugged in....  Are the OFR's from Germany made with sintered brass blocks?   I also noticed that the polished out coloration is different from the other half inch blocks out there (with both bottoms polished)....  your bell brass is incredible sounding....

You'll find I've paypaled you for another...

Thanks and hope things are going well for you...

That's a historical and very cool thing... good thing it wasn't ordered for a client... because I would have had to order another so I could keep the first logoed 37 of yours...  I imagine that when a client gets to see yours compared to the 1/2 inch regular big block, they won't have to stretch in making their decision....  It seems that yours can't be found by googling or dogpiling for a 3/4 inch brass floyd rose block.... good thing I was rooting around to see if anyone was making brass strat blocks and accidentally came across your site....

Thanks for being you!

Hi there ,

Just to let you know I installed the Trem Block last night. IT FIT PERFECTLY !!!!  thanks for that so much !!!! And because of the contours you made to the lower back bottom of the plate, I still get some nice range & can have the trem floating if I want but will probably set it so that it only lowers the pitch of the strings.
I could tell right away while putting the new strings on and intonating the guitar that the sustain was definitely increased. So far, this seems like a real winner. But I have to yet give it the real test which is live playing with my band. That will happen soon and I'm really looking forward to seeing if I can tell the difference this block makes in a band setting. But so far, I'm very excited about having one of these in my strat. I have a gig 10/4 so I'll contact you after that.

Best Regards,

Greg

Hope you make some more of these,... got a feeling at least one of the other players will be wantin' one too.
Thanks, & Best Regards, from a Very Happy Customer!

I just wanted to say your brass block is
truly exceptional, the best I have tried yet, better than callahans cold steel, better than D------e/K-S Titanium, and light years ahead of standard fender issues. It's definitely a big part of the tone I was looking for!!! You really should try to send a block or two to tonequest report magazine for a review, the exposure/press would boost your sales and get it out in front of more potential buyers/tonehounds/OCD guitar nuts. God bless and great work. OVER AND OUT

Hi Sandy,

Wow !!!! that looks like
a real PRO Job you did on it and believe me it is appreciated. I'm a real picky pain in the ass when it comes to the "little" details but it looks like you nailed it. I would suggest you keep up the high level of quality on all your items. Though it is extra work, it will make the Biggest difference in the long run. Guitarists are demanding people and they will not be satisfied with just what will work well. It has to look good too.

I'm glad I'm catching the first wave of your monster blocks. I will be using my strat exclusively with the surf band (Strange But Surf) and I will let your know all the differences I find from using this block. I have high expectations for it and ......... can't wait to put this on my strat and turn it up.

Thanks so much

Hi Sandy,
I had nothing to do last night so I installed the trem block. I noticed a difference right away! I did not have to plug it into the amp.
I felt vibrations in the body that I never felt before. Pretty cool!
I will be messing around with the axe this weekend with the amp on it. I would recommend your trem blocks to any Strat player!
Kind regards,

Dan

What a great product. I got the replacement today and I thank you again. It almost looks like it didn't make it in the box either. Try bubble wrap around it before the box. My post office must be rough. The box was torn and the brown envelope was wide open. But I bought another one. Made my Hamer Califorinian come alive.. Love it!!
